The inspiration for this image came from a wonderful local landscape photographer and naturalist Robert A. Metcalfe. With his permission, I have painted this image to capture the strength and beauty of the pink granite shoreline and crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay, highlighted with the elegance of a carbon Swift Kipawa canoe tucked in beside the granite boulders.
